Blacklands reopens for tents, caravans and motor vans from April 12. On recent legal advice, we will be opening toilet and shower blocks from the 12th (with tight controls on the number of persons permitted inside at any time), but the playground does unfortunately need to remain out-of-bounds until the 17th of May.
The government has said that from March 29th until at least May 17th it is (only) permitted to:
"meet outdoors either in a group of 6 [persons] (from any number of households) - or in a group of any size from up to 2 households (each household can include existing support bubbles, if eligible)".
It should be born in mind then that for dates before the 17th of May, (when lockdown restrictions on mixing outdoors are expected to be relaxed further), GROUP BASED CAMPING WILL NOT BE PERMISSIBLE. All campers will need to remain socially distanced from others according to the above legal stipulation.
All stays with us moving forward are bound by what is legally permissible under the applicable lockdown measures in place during that period of stay.
The expectation is for campers to come fully informed as to the official social distancing protocols in force at the time - which will need to be followed to the maximum extent on-site. This seems to be the most up-to-date online resource published by the government.
