Blacklands Farm Caravan & Camping is set in oak enclosed meadows in the heart of the idyllic West Sussex countryside, just a few miles from Brighton, and close to the South Downs national park.
The park is a paradise for young children in the warmer months, with a large ring-fenced playground area situated centrally, and the rest of the safely secluded grounds to explore (on foot or by bike) — often with newly made friends. The number of spaces available is limited to ensure things don't get too crowded.
In the cooler months (October through May), there are pitches for caravans and motor vans on the hard standing pitches located alongside the track around the perimeter of the playground field. Note that the shop/reception building is closed in this period — while the status of the playground can be checked here.
Excellent walking opportunities are available locally, with public footpaths running directly from (or within close vicinity of) the grounds that are ideal for a family stroll in the peaceful surrounding countryside. Navigate the paths with a better sense of where you are going by following our custom-made google maps walking routes available here.
Hire a fire pit when booking online and join in toasting marshmallows on skewers over the embers as twilight settles in.
